The Porsche Boxster

The Porsche Boxster oozes romance and will likely remain a classic for many years to come. With prices ranging from £33,170-£47,160, this is a sports car that comes with incredibly responsive steering and masterful road handling, thanks to its impressive chassis. Boxster drivers will be forgiven for flying off into a fantasy world of James Bond and super spies – this car has a lightness to it that allows it to simply float through the ether.

The Boxster’s engines range from 2687 cc to 3387 cc, and are fitted with a direct injection 3.4 litre flat six power unit with a Variocam Plus. A PDK twin clutch gearbox cuts down acceleration time, allowing the Boxter to go from 0-60 in 6.1 seconds. CO2 emissions are a respectable 262 g/km, considering the gusto of the car. The interior, while stunning (everything being positioned perfectly), can look a bit cluttered and awkward due to some of the dials, which are often a little fiddly to handle. One other negative aspect with the interior is that the roof is not a smooth operation; the rear has two exposed clasps that frustratingly don’t catch immediately.
As standard, the Porsche Boxster doesn’t come with a stereo or air-conditioning system. There is however a front bumper, which features some in-vogue LED daytime running lights, a double, black exhaust pipe, and some plastic black mesh inserts located on the side air intakes.
From the outside, the Boxster looks nothing short of elegant. With such excellent, road-worthy handling, drivers can expect nothing short of a stylish, smooth ride from this Porsche.
