Nissan Note

The Nissan Note is a small family car with both super-mini and compact MPV features.  Priced from £9,990 to £14,290, there are three variations of engine; a 1.4 litre and 1.6 litre in petrol, and a 1.5 litre dCi diesel.

The 1.6 will do 0 to 60 mph in 10.7 seconds with a maximum speed of 114 mph.  Fuel consumption on the 1.5 dCi is an economical 55.4 mpg in urban conditions, 67.3 mpg in non urban and 62.8 mpg combined.  The latest version of the Nissan Note has improved exterior design features including new headlights, bonnet, bumper and front grille.  The interior has also been redesigned to give the impression of more spaciousness.  Storage capacity in the boot can be adjusted by means of a sliding rear seat.  There are also good new details such as the ability to keep drinks cool in the glove-box by connecting it to the air conditioning.

A good number of extras are included in all models including front electric windows, CD player with MP3 auxiliary jack socket, remote central locking and immobiliser, Bluetooth phone operation activated by controls on the steering wheel, side airbags, folding tables and more.  The Nissan Note has a lot to offer for a small family car and was described by Which Magazine as “all the car you’ll ever need”, which is a great recommendation.  It drives well and although it is more expensive than some of the competition, economical running costs make it a proposition worth serious consideration.
