Nissan Murano
The Nissan Murano is a premium priced crossover five door 4x4. Priced at around £32,107 on the road, there are two engine versions to choose from, a 2.5litre dCi diesel and a 3.5litre V6 petrol.
The 3.5litre petrol will do 0 to 60 mph in 8.1 seconds with a maximum speed of 130mph. The fuel consumption is not easy on the pocket, with a combined consumption of 25.9 mpg. The Nissan Murano handles most road conditions very well, due to its 4x4-i technology, an intelligent four wheel drive system, which adapts to different driving conditions.
Safety features are up there with the best and include twin airbags at the front, sides and curtains plus ABS. Interior design is stylish in keeping with the price and includes a glass sunroof and as an optional extra, a DVD player mounted in the roof. Other extra features include an electronically powered tailgate, which opens and closes at the touch of a button, colour sat nav screen with kerb camera to aid parking, electric seats, front and rear electric windows, electric mirrors, leather seats, Bluetooth, MP3 CD stereo with iPod connection and alloy wheels.
The interior is spacious although storage capacity could be greater given the price and size of the vehicle. Overall, the Nissan Murano is a car that delivers the luxury promised by the price and the stylish looks. As long as you forget about the high fuel consumption, it makes for an extremely enjoyable car to drive.
