Mitsubishi Evo

The Mitsubishi Evo, priced between £30,298.99 and £40,789, was conceived with rallying in mind and as such offers great handling and terrific acceleration. Aesthetically it’s a stylish car. Driving the Evo allows for light and easy steering, though some may find this aspect less than exciting. With four-wheel drive, a hi-tech chassis and an electronic traction control system, this car is certainly a control freak’s fantasy.

The Mitsubishi Evo has a standard turbocharged engine, ranging from 300bhp, 330bhp and 360bhp, which means that even at 300bhp, drivers can easily reach 0-60 in 4.7 seconds. Consisting of two clutches, drivers can expect a smooth transition through gears, making acceleration a breeze. The Evo also provides smooth full wheel control with an excellent transmission and suspension system, thanks to its 2 litre four cylinder, twin-cam, 16-valve design engine with improved cooling system.

On the negative side, drivers are likely to experience quite a bit of road noise while out cruising. Bucket seats make up the seating, so if comfort is high on your requirements then the Mitsubishi Evo is unlikely to be the car for you. After all, this is a beast of a car – it’s solid, quick and muscular. Surprisingly, for such a large car it doesn’t provide a great deal of space, and therefore some drivers could find the car a fairly impractical choice that is tough on insurance. Those seeking a family-friendly car will be unlikely to find it with the Evo, but for thrill-seekers and leisurely drivers, look no further.
